CGT discount is good.
Deferring tax for a long as possible better ( or until you are in a favourable tax position. )
However it becomes a problem when you try and avoid paying tax at all cost.
Just making straight up more money can trump both.... if only it where that easy though.
As you commented somewhere, I wonder what the statistical success rate are for the different type of traders.
