Brokers have chart guys on their team I know this for a fact (and they are still at odds with each other even in that environment!)..but what I suspect is that the job for these technicians is to look at gaps and price patterns etc and advise on the timing of announcements with price at these places...there may be more power in a gap area than I appreciate..big powerful gaps up are a significant shift in bullishness so what does it say when price retraces back to that point after some time..perhaps those that are left are the tight hands?..plus a new crowd is watching and waiting to enter there..I dont really know..but it is coincidental that price bounces strongly from a gap close and often with news..as to waiting or buying at market now? the % difference is too fine to worry about waiting imo...the way this retrace has been going relentlessly down everyday and through all other popular TA support without even a slight bounce has me believing that someone while sitting around the table at morning briefing has decided .."ok well take it down to the gap at 08c"
