You are correct Nissan Leaf has bidirectional charging and from memory AGL are starting a trial of using them for this purpose to stabilise the grid. Not a fan of the Nissan Leaf due to passive battery cooling but the are bringing out a new Nissan suv with active cooling. It’s still early days but when you build a house today something to consider. It’s not a stretch to consider charging your car at work all day utilising solar then powering your house for a few hours in the evening and mornings. I would rather do that then pay $50-$60 k on a battery system then leave it in the house when you move.
