Some key release dates coming up:
1) Alcoa releases its second-quarter earnings along with its conference call on Thursday, July 15, 2021: 5:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. EDT
2) FYI is due to release their quarterly activities reports & cashflow on Friday, July 30, 2021
3) Alumina Ltd half-year results are due to be released on Tuesday, August 24, 2021
FYI will want the JV to be finalized before 30th July and Alcoa will be busy with the quarterly results for the next week or so. My guess on timing is the week of the 19th of July and probably closer to the 2nd half of that week.
They can control the ann. date by not inking the contract until they're ready to release. In any event, not too many more weeks to wait.
