As longer I think about this possible JV I come to the conclusion that the essential question is not if the JV with Alcoa is going to happen but is Alcoa willing to significantly enter the market of high quality HPA?
And I guess yes, they are willing to and I further guess that its Alcoas own claim as the global leader in Aluminum to be innovative and play a leading role in the HPA space. Since HPA obviously will get more and more important in the future.
And I assume they would not waste a 6-digit dollar amount in the FYI technology if they would not take it serious! So is there any other development project by Alcoa for HPA?
So obviously theres no way around FYI for them.
