Alcoa brings a cash balance of 1.6 billion on their balance sheet for a start. They are definitely going to have to tip a LOT of money into the JV given how much we bring to the table.
Depending on the % of the JV who knows we may be fully funded in a few weeks for Kwinana.
@Scottj15 my understanding is the JV will be a separate entity. Will be interesting to see what % we hold and they hold.
FYI will still be an ASX listed company and Alcoa should not be getting any equity in FYI in my view.
