Too true, and that is why A4N did not even make it to my shortlist. It is not only the contaminants in the source ore, because when one gets down to 99,999 or 99,9999, the contaminants introduced by the refining process become significant. Further, as you mentioned its not only what elements are in the end product, their structures are significant, as a comparison of diamonds to graphite makes patent.
