Anyone wanting to do some reading have a look at Redwood Materials. Interesting to see the scale of their plans in the US for battery recycling and component manufacturing. Also of note is that Alcoa have a holding in ERI along with Redwood and other big names. These companies are well known to each other.
Alcoa's plans for this space are not a whimsical foray. We are part of a much much bigger plan for the US EV battery market for them that will involve America gaining control of their own supply chain. All imo.
