It seems ridiculous to you as you haven't worked out what is going on behind the smoke and mirrors.
There is no evidence that you have done any research to substantiate your opinion-so the usual flight default is to throw mud.
You should have worked it out when the example was used when numpties pay extra for their plane ticket to pay for the carbon. THey still ride in the plane that spews out pollution.....but then, perhaps you've been grounded for a decade or more and are rusted out.
