I think you are all overthinking this.

The market wanted a quick win, Roly wants to get into production (stated plan all along).

Roly has explained everything he needs to. He shouldn't waste time doing extra interviews when the benefits have been laid out clearly. Especially when there is so much to be getting on with Alcoa.

People can say its easy for me with such a low average. But what people don't realise is that at one point I was down around 50% myself on FYI. But I backed the business and management, averaged down and years later am up many times over.

Famous investing quote is that in the short term the market is a voting machine, long term its a weighing machine. I think that is exactly what we will see here.
