lets see how many shorts were put on this week. the latest spike on that chart is 100,000 shares. i agree with you but we will need a lot more short interest before any kind of squeeze happens.
that said, it would be funny if there were a bunch of shorts out there, say 5-10mil, and then all of a sudden it became apparent that europe had bought up half the asx float and that us strong handed long terms had been relentlessly absorbing.
