Maybe not 12 months ago, but soon after it became evident that they lend to margin lenders then lend stock to shorters so that the security they hold could be devalued so that they could run a risk of loosing so that their share price could respond appropriately.
Bit like lending on houses and buying the insurance company that covers the house and then paying vandals to burn the houses down. Really can't help but take a hit if you really "try to get wasted in a Banking Sense".
Banks............ and the government always comes to their rescue. No wonder they can't behave responsibly they are like spoilt little brats that have no decent role models.
