A CAT 793 will haul 250t per load
@ 0.5g/t that's just on 4oz per load. Other smarter people can do the maths on recover rates and all that however you have a fleet of 20 trucks dumping 4oz of gold into the crusher every 5min it all adds up.
Cadia in its prime had about 24 trucks hauling out of a pit that was near on 500m deep with grades less than 1g/t. It's a numbers game where tonnes are king
