Maybe the other reason for the spike was that buyers were sitting on the sidelines to see what happened after the options were exercised, and/or were sitting in the line with low ball offers, waiting to hit squeezed sellers wanting to sell heads to finance their options. and I believe the dec 20 numbers are showing just that. If you followed the trades carefully after new year, you could see there was buying pressure, maybe from those that were waiting in the sidelines. Once the horse started to bolt, everyone rushed in and its hit the high it hit after the Nomgon success. The Yangir success has not been factored in to the pricing yet...it will come though.
