The OGIP figure for a deposit that big is going to be huge. I had a quick look at their latest presentation and the little bit of seismic they have pretty clearly shows thick coal seams. If they are saturated (which they seem to be in one area and not in another) then they are going to get big numbers. Whether it gets up into multi-TCF will depend on whether the certifier is happy to let them 'rubber band' between data points.
Example: 90m coal, 5 m3/t raw gas content, 1.45 g/cc coal density = 23 bcf per km2 OGIP. That's very high.
But the key risk is permeability and thus recovery factor. 91.5 mD is indeed world class permeability but I'm always suspicious when they just mention one test in one well. And an IFOT at that, not an MDT or DST. IFOTs are basically done when you expect tight coals. What's the full range of permeabilities encountered in the entire project?
We'll have to wait for the pilot production results to have a better idea.
