Trireme & Aurelius - I personally could not agree more with the content of your posts, I believe that they are spot on the money with respect to the ridiculous situation in this country with regards to the property market.....Yes the property market is burgeoning, most likely a bubble....a nation-wide bubble????......I don't know........What I find offensive is the vitriole almost calling for a burst so that people can get their "just desserts".....I made a point in a recent post on another propert thread that during the economic growth that this country experienced, very little focus was placed on long-term investment, savings, and the evils of over-credit......As such your middle-class and lower-class attempted to better their positions on the back of credit........credit provided by the wealthier in society.........credit provided by those whom should no better.........credit provided with scant regard for the actuality of the individual or familial situation of the applicants.......furthermore real estate agencies displayed a wanton attitude, exacerbating the property boom.....tv shows were dedicated to buying and selling property......the list goes on.......

My personal desire is to see the property "boom", merely slow and settle, so that the ever-wideneing socio-economic class gap can be incrementally reduced again........."bursting" the bubble will have disasterous effects on the "little" people more so than those whom created the boom..........if you care for this demographic as you suggest you do, you would agree that this is a more responsible way to address the excesses of recent times.....unless I have missed something which I am happy to discuss and learn....

    Cheers
