I've had a hunt through Dacian presentations and announcements and all I came up with was the announcement on 1 December 2017 that Macmahon Contractors Pty Ltd were awarded the open pit mining gig for Jupiter. Couldn't see any actual statements whether or not they continue to be the mining contractor but there's a recent photo from the company with a couple of machines labelled Macmahon. So I have no idea if MacMahon is still Dacian's mining contractor or whether they are the contractor that jc alluded to.
I presume that there is in the contract clauses allowing for periodic reviews of how the contractor is going, and surely a drop-dead clause. Not sure how easy it is at the moment for Dacian to come up with a replacement contractor without material operational delays and financial costs. Anyway Leigh Junk already has lots of moving parts in motion so he might prefer to work through any issues with the contractor, which surely is competent and experienced, than take the plunge with another one.
