Hi JC, Mr. Junk responded to my email very promptly. Obviously he could not go into specifics. He did not deny that there were some challenges recently but said that Dacian has an excellent working relationship with contractors. He remarked that it was difficult for miners generally to attract and retain skills because of the Covid border restrictions and the resulting competition between miners. He suggested that skill shortage and related operational issues is something that all miners are faced with in current circumstances.
My take away is that Dacian have had some difficulties and these are just an occupational hazard of being a miner. I don't think this is a re run of the contractor issues that Rohan Williams had at Westralia.
