The DCF models really vary a lot, I'm not sure if it was in this one or a previous one... however in that model they used a 0.5 coeficient (basically divide everything by 2) to account for possible risks on the way - in addition to the 8% discount rate.
Now consider that even a simple topic on Reddit can hype the stock 30%+ or look at current valuation of VUL (Vulcan in Germany) and the future doesn't look bad.
