I think off-take could literally come any time between now and the end of next year. We know that VW plans to locate a battery factory somewhere in Eastern Europe. We know the Czech government wants it in the Czech Republic. Seems to me that CEZ is using Cinovec as an incentive for VW to choose the Czech Republic.

At this point, I'm expecting an announcement of a VW Skoda battery plant to be announced simultaneously with a Cinovec off-take agreement. I'm guessing that CEZ and VW are locked in negotiations right now, and there's no telling how long they will go on before a deal is reached that is acceptable to all parties. Critically though, I think it's the deal that makes the most sense for all sides involved, so I expect that an agreement will be reached eventually - possibly very soon, possibly not.
