It's pretty hard to get any specific history about KC, he's definitely not an expert in mining, not an engineer - I can find zero information about his past work (what activities, which companies etc). At least when you look at something like EMN, the CEO has successfully created a junior gold miner that actually went into production.
Regarding the CEZ topic - they won't try to completely rip off minority shareholders but always remember that CEZ never is and never will be your friend and they aren't a good partner for anything. It's probably better to have a project with 51% CEZ ownership and government involvement - than project stuck in undefined state with no support. What happens after autumn elections is hard to predict, the new government may try to (as a 70% shareholder) get rid of the current CEZ CEO and replace him by someone else.
