For the first time in quite a few years, a empty grain train has travelled to Yelta, the end of the Victorian standard gauge line that serves Mildura and Merbein. It will load today. Great to see the terminus' silos being used by rail at long last.
A broad gauge train for GNC has just arrived at Wycheproof on the Sea Lake line. Wycheproof has the rail line running down the main street.
In northwest NSW a grain train is at Moree for loading.
