It's unusual for a GNC loaded grain train to be trundling along on the Victorian standard gauge Maroona to Portland line during daylight, but on Saturday 26 August 2023, one has just passed through Branxholme (south of Hamilton, Vic - not be confused with Newcastle NSW's Hamilton or Brisbane's) at 1430 AEST.

There's a GNC broad gauge grainy loading at Wycheproof on the Sea Lake line.

In NSW, there's a Southern Shorthaui Railroad standard gauge train loading at GNC's extensive Milvale site on the Cootamundra West-Parkes often busy crosscountry line. This grain will go to one of the domestic mills around Sydney, as SSR has the 'domestic' contract in NSW and Victoria.
