A Pacific National grain train that looks to have originated at Marmalake (the huge grain storage with the historic 'stick shed') near Murtoa, Victoria is approaching Westmere, so this is probably the first standard gauge grain train on the Adelaide line bound for North Geelong in over a week.
GNC previously stated its shipping STEM program is 'full' so hopefully more grain trains will roll across Victoria's western plains to feed the hungry silos at North Geelong and eventually, the bulk ships carrying GNC-handled grain to numerous destinations.
