Since its track was brought back to a better standard, the standard gauge Ouyen - Murrayville, Victoria (used to be Pinnaroo, SA) branch line hasn't seen large numbers of grain trains.

It's therefore pleasing to see one presumably starting to load at Underbool.

Additionally, there's a standard gauge grain train loading today at Oaklands NSW (a branch line that junctions at Benalla, Vic) so that'll be more grain for the hungry GNC facilities at North Geelong. The same applies to a broad gauge grainie loading at Deniliquin NSW, and another at Tocumwal, NSW.

While I can't view it at present, there's also a grain train on the Manangatang line that's also broad gauge.

On the NSW intrastate standard gauge branch line network, a Pacific National grain train is loading at Barellan, between Temora and Griffith.

Loaded grain train number 3930 is between Marulan and Wingello, north of Goulburn, on the way to Bomadeery's Manildra Flour plant. It looks to have originated at Girral on the Stockingbingal - Lake Cargelligo line.

Also on the Sydney-Melbourne main line is train number 3922, the scheduled early morning 0530 hours Cootamundra to Port Kembla Inner Harbour loaded grain train. It has passed through the tiny hamlet of Bowning and should soon pass through the pleasant station of Yass Junction.

Another grain train is at Carrington at the Port of Newcastle, so probably unloading. It originated at Gllgrandra, NSW on Tuesday afternoon at 1434 hours and travelled via Dubbo and crosscountry to Werris Creek for the trip down to the port through Maitland.

There may be a couple of others.
