I have been thinking about AKIDA applications for a while, and I think a significant area would be with traffic lights.
An onboard 'brain' in the traffic light integrated with a visual sensor, that would consider the time of day, day of the week, relative congestion, and the general flow of traffic. To a certain extent traffic lights are programmed to meet these demands, but traffic is dynamic and changes with many variables. AKIDA could responsively adapt to these variables, significantly reducing congestion and improving the commute. Considered with all of the other AKIDA applications related to transport, our product could revolutionise this industry and create the truly smart cities of the future. And just for a moment consider how significant this would be for holders, there are hundreds of millions of traffic lights across the globe.
