It's great when there is increase in short position, yet the SP continues to rise. ;-)
Shorters can, ironically, be an asset to us, as we can consider a high short interest as potential energy, inevitably needing to be discharged. Shorters need to pay interest on the loan of holding shares, and the longer they hold, the more it hurts. Let alone if their initial attack didn't result in a decrease of the SP, and they need to cover at a higher price. Thus, their portfolio is penetrated doubly.

However, I understand the sentiment to short at this point, thinking that BRN is overbought and hot as magma now. But, they are basing their analysis on standard companies, which BRN is anything but.

Plus, I am not sure how far we are from NASDAQ listing. Imagine if we run ASX to exhaustion, only to past the baton to the Yanks who take the momentum to the next level.
