Re-do your maths.
$6000 invested at 40c....equates to 15000 shares.....sold at $1.80....equates to $27K (pre-CGT).
However, that is nowhere near enough for a house deposit in Australia, unless needing LMI....of which LMI would equate to about $15K and eat into all her BRN profits.
Profit is a great story. House deposit story is a shambles.
