A few facts got me 1½ year ago, everybody in hardware AI didn´t do AI, they did acceleration. Only three companies had any serious development of Neuromorphic chips and Brainchip was ahead. Akida was going to be sold as IP, which Intel and IBM wouldn´t do. So I saw a company with a revolutionary and attractive product, that didn´t have competition.
Later I found the fact that conventional AI is hitting limits for growth because of diminishing returns on energy used, because of exponentially increasing power consumption to train models, the solution being Neuromorphic computing.
Selling IP blocks make them robust, flexible and dynamic.
I found it extremely limited what could go wrong except for disaster, death, war and stuff like that.
