I’m smiling like a Cheshire Cat today.

I rarely follow the stock market for an hour or so let alone all day, but yesterday was an exception. No doubt like many of you, I watched the price run up yesterday, with a sense of disbelief. A job beckoned, but I could not pull myself away. When the rise moved past 30%, my instinct kicked in telling me enough was enough. I sold a chunk of my freely held holding and then held my breath.

Would the price keep going up or what? It did for awhile, but then the sentiment changed.

For the next couple of hours, I feverishly amended my buy back order downwards, until my nerves ran out and I clicked the buy order.

Suffice to say, it was the best individual day for me since September 2020.

I accept this is not for everyone, and I’ve certainly copped a few hammerings, but throughout my life instinct has always played an important part of my decision making. Trading, particularly on days like yesterday is one way to keep my brainchip alert and my pulse racing.
