Unless u trade for a living as a buisness, I average 300buy sells a month.
End of year it's profit minus losses minus brokerage an all other taxable losses power etc.
Then I pay tax on what's left.

So for me even if I buy back higher than I sold it doesn't matter that much.
So it does depend on your own personal sercumstances.

All my friends an family I've gotten into brn
I didn't tell any of them to sell as tax would affect them,
I'm still 100% pro BRN an didn't plan on selling my main holding it just happened, went up to fast an in my view was a short squeeze.
