Element I am in the same situation they will make it as simple as possible for them selves so wont be any possibility of transferring shares on the positive side it means I am locked into BRN etc until minimum age of 60 so 12 years take the pressure off somewhat.
Am considering selling half of my super fund other shares etc to set up my SMSF which maybe an option for yourself just leave the industry super account going with BRN in it and they have good insurance coverage nothing to stop you doing that what I have been advised.
