One thing I have noticed are all these chip manufacturers announcing new or continued partnerships with vehicle manufacturers. With one article in particular being written as if Intel are the dominant and lead in the space.

If and when I can afford to buy an electric car in the future I will know, not all are the same. Just as the market is today, some carrying better reputations than others.

It really is a standing ovation from Mercedes to not only publicly acclaim the genius market leading tech from BRN, but also makes complete sense that someone like Mercedes would use only the best in class for a plethora of tasks SOC solutions will be able to manage and execute on in the impending automotive revolution.

I really hope Toyota see the light, I adore their vehicles. I can respect and acknowledge the brilliance of Mercedes and personally put them as my numero uno when it comes to European vehicles sold at scale.

Future assessment of a new EV will require buyers to dig into the internal "smarts/ Brains" of a car. Otherwise you could be buying a new car with a severely outdated  SOC solution.

I for one know what I will be demanding as the "Brain" of my EV down the track.

It really is a no brainer for automotive companies to take heed of what Mercedes have put into action, and ensure market relevance by ensuring what some may consider to be the most important element of their new EV.

A best in class SOC solution.

To state the obvious, less mechanics and more tech centric vehicles are nigh.
