One thing to note is that the volumes on the US OTC tickers and the german exchanges etc are no where near as high as they'd need to be to explain the volumes/price appreciation on the ASX. I know some people have suggested the recent run is partially the result of increased demand from overseas... but the volume just isn't there. Which makes me think the buying is being driven by an institution rather than overseas retail demand.
