Agree MM.
The easiest price sensitive announcement in the world to delay without consequence until the last day of the due month is the 4C so a company could easily give itself a few more days to link up a 4C release with a contract signing that they expect to occur before the end of the month if they saw there was an advantage to do so. It is probably a little more difficult to do it the other way around.
