I appeared for a nice young fellow for drink driving. He had studied Economics at Western Sydney University and had graduated 12 months earlier. He had become depressed about not being able to find employment because the only positions for an economist at the time required two to three years experience. In his graduation year across Australia 2,000 young people had graduated with an economics degree and he saw no future.

I am not suggesting you have sympathy for this author but sometimes even decent individuals do what it takes. He has been doing it so long now though he probably should be looking at further studies and a change of career.
