The reference to dope smokers, is to those who abuse the drug, as with any drug, such as alcohol (which causes more damage than any in society and is actually allowed to be actively pushed, advertised and marketed), abuse can lead to undesirable side effects.

The use in medicine, as is with the active ingredients of "magic mushrooms" is not intended to get people "high".

Many artists and many disciplines have found inspiration, with the use of psycho altering drugs, but in my opinion, it is the "cheap" way of finding such inspiration.

My own opinions of the use of such drugs like Marijuana, is that of the American Indians and many other "primitive" peoples, who reserved the use of them, predominantly for the Elders. Or those who cannot enjoy life like the young and able.
(my understandings).

The use of drugs by young and able people, in an effort to gain some sort of enjoyment or satisfaction, from their lives, is sad in my opinion.

"Recreational drug users" to me, fit into the same category as the above.
Drugs, to my understanding, don't produce the high, good feelings, etc.
They command the body, to produce these chemicals (endorphins etc).

That is what I mean, when I describe them as "cheap". If you require them to "have a good time" then how good a time, are you really having?

There is far too much reliance on drugs, in society in general, in my opinion.

And I have tried Marijuana before, but I didn't inhale and am partial to a Coopers Ale on occasion.

My opinions only and not intended to offend or vilify any persons in various circumstances.
