I have a condition know as hypopituitarism where my pituitary gland
doesn't send a signal to my adrenal glands to make cortisol. We suspect this condition was a result of Stage 4 Melanoma (which thanks to the Melanoma Institute of Australia is in check) I hope in the near future that BRN can be used to detect any immediate cortisol needs and enable an automatic dispense of cortisol or preferably trigger my adrenal glands normal productions. A vision worth sharing - who knows one day these hopes/dreams may come true!!
