nope this is overthinking.
they are saying they have used for the super trivial purpose "Hey Mercedes" and not any other real feature of say self driving. Because it can not be used with self driving feature. That requires a model which learned from 1000's Millions KM's of driving from other cars like Tesla does. They do not use this crap.
