I agree there is a connexion between Nanose and Brainchip. Akida was used to analyse data taken by the Nanose sensor from tests in China and sent to BrainChip some time ago.

What I am saying is that it does not seem that a single device incorporating Akida and the Nanose sensor is being tested for approval by US.

The article said the device would be used for point-of-care, and that remote use would come later.

It is not clear to me whether "remote use" means a single device incorporating Akida and Nanose, or whether it means using a smart phone to send the sample data to a medical centre.

Sniffphone 2 uses Bluetooth to connect to a smart phone which has an app to handle the data. Again, I'm not sure whether the phone analyses the results or sends them to a central computer for analysis.
