Another stellar performance today. I think people are beginning to see the writing on the wall.
The next wave of trillion dollar investments are into AI...one one doubts this anymore...it's here and evolving fast...the first mover advantage is more important than ever because they set the standard, the compatibility, the ecosystem...if you cannot see that Brainchip is becoming one of the main player of this ecosystem then you don't deserve to be one of the next group of millionaires/billionaires benefiting of this trillion dollar wave.
You can google anything, read any magazine or go to any conference of any industry and everyone is talking about AI...and more and more leaning towards Edge AI or TinyML.
Now where is Brainchip currently?
- just recently, NVISO has successfully completed full interoperability of four of its AI Apps from its Human Behavioural AI catalogue to the BrainChip Akida neuromorphic processor achieving a blazingly fast average model throughput of more than 1000 FPS and average model storage of less than 140 KB. This will target the next generation of low-power SOC devices with embedded neuromorphic capabilities, target applications include Robotics, Automotive, Telecommunication, Infotainment, and Gaming...so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be in billions of devices/machinery/systems.
- Brainchip's Akida has been installed in the Concept car EQXX from Mercedes and, among other things, makes the "Hey, Mercedes" voice control up to ten times more efficient than conventional voice control...so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be in millions of Mercs which will mean other car models.
- Edge Impulse's platform has embraced BrainChip's Akida technology to develop the platform for edge ML used by over 40,000 developers across 65,000 projects worldwide...so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be in billions of devices/machinery/systems.
- ARM will be using the Edge Impulse ML platform with Brainchip's IP to dominate the TinyML chip industry...so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be in billions of remote or handheld devices (ie. > 70% worldwide).
- Megachips has centered its ASIC/SoC development with Edge AI capabilities based on Brainchip's IP and Quadric's architecture....so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be in billions of devices/machinery/systems (remember Megachips has been linked with Nintendo, Sony, Bosch plus many undisclosed others).
- With Renesas it's actually a very complex situation because it wants a presence in the ARM microcontroller and processor markets, but also looking at the emerging RISC-V cores and new spiking AI accelerators to boost machine learning in the Internet of Things (IoT) and will be using Brainchip's IP in some selected applications...hard to gauge how much they want to use Brainchip's IP but I think if the others above are rolling out things containing Brainchip's IP then there will be an industry or a compatibility push for them to use Brainchip's IP.
- The US AFRL and NASA is continuing with its stages of AI development using Brainchip's IP i.e, the initial trial must have been successful but vague and highly classified information...one thing for sure is that they have not abandoned this project and there are indications that is is progressing in the planned stages...so more than likely Brainchip's IP will be the center of the US government's AI aspiration in its military and space development.
I'm sure there are many more development behind the scene.
Now I'm not sure about people's expectations of Brainchip in its short commercial history but to me these are more than what I had expected and signals a great future with billions in revenue. To quote the CEO, the SP is no where near what it should be, but like all great things it will get to where it should be in time...it will be a roller coaster ride!
Warning: this is all my opinion so don't get too emotional!
