IoT devices with AI function will require 5G to run smoothly due to metadata transmission and 5G will require AI for enhancing signal and cyber security...AI and 5G are symbiotic according to Ziad Asghar, Vice President of Product Management at Qualcomm.
I guess Brainchip's patent US 11,429,857, "Secure Voice Communications System," can allow a smartphone embedded with Akida to communicate safely with another smartphone with Akida because information is encrypted by transmitting spike timing rather than original voice/text data, making it impossible for anyone else to intercept the transmission.
I found this slide interesting from Ziad Asghar's talk at the Algorithms, Processors, Qualcomm, Sensors, Software, Summit 2022, Tools, Videos / June 6, 2022.

Note the heading "Future of On-Device AI", then note the middle writing on the diagram "few shot learning".
Now, the only edge AI platform that can do one or few shot learning is a SNN platform, and the only SNN that can do one or few shot learning is Brainchip's Akida !!!
I have a funny suspicion that Qualcomm has Brainchip's IP in its back pocket for future generation Snapdragon chips...just a hunch so don't get too excited
