IMHO, there was definitely something very serious going on behind the scenes here today in Germany (Tuesday), which definitely got the attention of a lot of German and other European investors.
Indeed this interest is still strong i.e. at 9.35 pm here on Tradegate in Germany the CNJ SP is now up 17.5%, with the last trade at 3.29 cents (Euro), or 4.84 cents (AUD). The trading volume for the day is now 5,926,811 shares.
I would suggest that the reason for this well above average tradiing volume, as well as the very strong SP, is probably one of the following things (or all three?):
1. Information has leaked out that hole MTRC017D (the sixth hole) which is over 600 metres south of Callisto (and directly adjacent to the already highly successful historical hole MTDD008) has hit "massive" or "heavily" disseminated sulphides, with an announcement being imminent.
2. Information has leaked out that the "official" assay results from the very first hole i.e. MTJV001, are very good, particularly the PGE Nickel and Rhodium grades, and that the release of these assays is being fast tracked i.e. they will probably be released within the next 2 weeks.
3. Information has leaked out that TAJ and his team have made a significant discovery at either Ryberg or Mestersvig (or both?), the results of which will be released within the next few days. Of course there may also be additional positive news about Mestersvig i.e. interest has been shown by a major miner in resuming mining there (?).
Other than the above, perhaps here today there was simply a lot of buying by German and other European investors, who, like me, simply feel that CNJ are currently very undervalued, given that they are highly likely to begin announcing the assay results from 20 diamond drill holes, and that these results are all likely to be very good (based on the preliminary results that CNJ and GSR have released, the chances of this happening are very good!).
