Disappointingly the data is not able to be reported but my personal data sheet shows that on the 23rd there were 546,odd k shorts reported for the day to the ASX yet there was an increase of 1,469,730 new open positions reported to ASIC.
That then is a misreported 623,odd k shorts for the day.
With the loaned / borrowed shares now around 17 million up from 14 odd million on the 23rd one can safely assume that the reported numbers are likely a bit short as well.
