Charting is useful for Traders but not so much if you are an Investor for the medium to long term.
Chart support points and upward trend lines are useful in identifying entry/buy points either as a trader or investor but gaps are total B/S.
People get brainwashed about gaps in that they have to be filled before SP continues on its way ---- and I say WHY ?? Like sheep people get led to wherever they like you to go.
A la DJ Trump --- if one spruiks B/S & fake news regurarly and repeatedly the week minded will believe and follow , without real substance.
No offence to chartists but in my view Fundemental Analysis is the only way to a company's true value.
