Market down 179 points - so, I suspect, a lot of panic selling on the ASX today. My small portfolio got shredded today. BNL was not even the hardest hit. Some people holding shares - not just BNL - tend to get the knee wobbles at such times and try and get cash back. Illogical at times but a natural event.
In my humble view, every ended up well over sold. If we can see the DOW settling down, then a lot of investors will come back in.
We definitely need some good news now to reverse the SP trend. So, the drilling is much more important than the current SP.
