On the call Alcoa says the results from the pilot plant runs so far meets the quality needs of the market. They are keeping their cards close to their chests.

Goldman Sachs asked about timing on an update of the HPA project. Alcoa's response after a long pause was over the course of 2022 we'll see advancements in what is right now a relatively small scale application to make sure it actually works and then coming into the end of this year is when we'll design and consider if we move forward with that larger project. More information coming out as 2022 continues forward.

My take from that is over calendar year 2022 the demo plant will be built to see if the project can scale and then at the end of calendar 2022 Alcoa will determine if they proceed with the larger plant.
