I did not mean to suggest that battery separators specially were a 5% demand growth market. I do not know and have not read that that of estimation. I don’t know that there is much value at this early juncture to trying to estimate. The risk is upside certainly. The potential is entirely a matter of kg per unit sold and I do not know those values.
I just like the material properties of sapphire Al2O3 4N+ HPA and the growing applications it has already proven itself at. Which are likely to persist imo for long enough to invest long term in. New apps will come along. Sapphire extremely stable and capable.
My investment in FYI is both an investment in the material and their greener process. I like to combine investment theses to simplify my portfolio which had too many positions for years.
