I'm not expecting the SP to double overnight but rather I view the current SP level a great opportunity to build a position for the gains that I think we materialise over the next 12 months. I started to add to my position in the mid 20's and accelerated my buying a bit this week due to the weakness in the market. Picking the bottom is next to impossible so I'm happy to accumulate over a period of time and if the SP dips lower in the interim then it just means I'll pick up more shares.
I would expect Alcoa to update the market on the expected timing & capital expenditure amounts of their R&D projects at the next quarterly (mid year) which should be released approx. 15th July. This is the next key date for me where I will re-evaluate my holdings here. Until then I'm not expecting any news to drop aside from perhaps an updated ESG Risk Rating which should be released either next week or the week after.
