I assiduously read every hydrogen good-news story published in Australia and abroad that I see, and I have done so for years. Every one has been supported by government handouts. If the investments were economically viable, they would get up without handouts.
Yuri will be funded a $47.5m grant from the Federal government’s ARENA Renewable Hydrogen Deployment Fund and a $2m by the WA’s Renewable Hydrogen Fund.
I have no problem with NWH getting its snout in the trough - money is money, even if the parties dishing it out stole it from tax payers.
